The industry of inspection has changed in the last ten years and the new buzzword seems to be certification. Old time, seasoned inspectors are finding that almost every new job is asking for a certified API 510 inspector to perform external or internal pressure vessel inspections. Even though one might have the experience, certification is now required.
Our American Petroleum Institute (API) 510 Preparatory Course is designed to prepare inspectors for this rigorous exam in order to become certified. It covers in depth the Body of Knowledge one must be familiar with to pass this examination.
The daytime course will consist of six (6) days with eight (8) hours a day for class. A minimum of at least fifteen (15) students is necessary for the class to form. The cost of the course will cover the training and classroom workbooks. All code material and API exam fees are the responsibility of the student. These courses are offered at least four times a year and the dates, pricing and sign-up can be accessed through the posted schedule.
**Unfortunately, we currently do not have any API 510 Preparatory Courses scheduled. Please contact us at info@BLDCareerCenter.com or continue to check back for any changes.
